national icons. First up is Azhar which revolves around the life of
Mohammad Azharuddin that releases this may 13,
Then, we have
Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni: The Untold Story which hits
theatres in September this year. Now, we hear that the biopic on Sachin

☀☀Here's all you need to know about the film☀☀
The biopic on SRT will be titled 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams'.
The
film will capture his cricket and personal life in great detail and the
highest run-scorer in the history of the game will also chip in with
his inputs for the film which will be released in 200 theatres across
the world.
While it's
still not confirmed if Azhar or MS Dhoni will be making their
appearances in heir respective biopics, we can officially announce that
Sachin will indeed be a part of his biopic.
Mumbai-based
production company 200 Not Out will be making the film. The company has
over 150 advertisements and short films to its credit and has bagged
the rights to make the film from World Sports Group (WSG). London-based
award-winning writer, director and producer, James Erskine has been
roped in to direct the film.
The
work on the biopic has already begun last year and it is presently being
shot in real-time. Many personalities across the world are also
contributing to it. The production company is also in touch with cricket
boards across the world to access video footage from the past which
will be slotted into the movie.
Apart
from following the phenomenal rise of Sachin, the film will also reveal
a few never-seen-before aspects of his life. Incidentally, the makers
wanted to capture the glorious years of the Indian legend for the next
generation. However, they were not interested in making a biopic, so
they zeroed in on the idea of making a feature film after getting
Sachin's consent.
The first teaser poster has been unveiled by Sachin himself and the teaser too will be unveiled on April 14.
